Sleep Problems or More Particularily Adult Sleep Problems Can Increase With Age
I can remember a time when the one thing I could depend on was the ability to get a quality
night's sleep. Quality sleep in fact, was one thing that no one could take away from me - or so I thought. I could sleep when I was tired, I
could sleep when I was experiencing deep depression or going through fatigue, and I could sleep to escape from my problems. So, you can imagine
how I felt when I was diagnosed with an adult sleep problem!
Before, I had always attributed adult sleep problems to stress, chronic fatigue, and other disturbances at work or with health, like obesity
or age. I figured these problems would disappear when the stress disappeared, or when the chronic fatigue subsided. Never once did I consider
that treating a problem with sleeping at night would be a solution for some other problem. I mean, it just never dawned on me that a good night
of rest would ease the chronic stress I subjected myself to in the work environment. And who knew that a restless night of sleeping would
contribute to a restless day of working?!
Today, I know better and I do whatever's necessary to get a healthy night's sleep. And you know what? I feel so much better - so much more
energetic - and I'm even happier! I finally feel as though I'm in control of things and thanks to treating my adult sleep
problem with quality care and remedies, I have one less thing to worry about at night and during the day!
