Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Symptoms

There are many Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms, and one symptom, or a combination of all of the symptoms may appear at any given time. This is a condition where a person feels fatigued or exhausted all of the time – even after a full night of rest. This symptom and the condition are further agitated with exercise.

Most of the symptoms of the syndrome are obvious to the patient, but other symptom are only noticeable by a physician or through lab test results. Obvious symptoms include fatigue, extreme fatigue after exertion, constant tiredness, weakness and tiredness, constant exhaustion, chronically depressed, headaches, sore or tender lymph nodes, muscle aches, joint aches, muscle pain, loss of memory, lack of concentration, and problems sleeping.

For most people, CFS starts after an illness, such as a cold, flu, bronchitis, or a virus. For other people, CFS begins either during or after a period of intense stress. Many others report that CFS was not preceded by any other illness or stress. When CFS does start, if the person has recently had the flu, they often mistakenly think that they are having a reoccurrence of the same illness. This is due to the fact that CFS symptoms are much like flu symptoms.

The most common indication of being chronically fatigued is constant tiredness that does not go away for a long period of time. Many doctors won’t even enter a diagnosis of being chronically fatigued unless the fatigue has lasted for a period of six months, and the fatigue cannot be connected to some other health problem.
