Talking In Your Sleep
Conversation During Sleeping?

Are you talking in your sleep? If so, don’t worry. It is really very common to talk in your sleep. To sleep talk is not an indication of any disorder or psychological problem, and does not require any treatment, as there really is no cure. In fact, talking during rest is usually just an indication of stress – which is treatable and curable.

Scientists agree that sleeping conversation is usually connected to your dreams, and is not usually associated with your real life – when you are awake. However, in some cases, your dreams are a reflection of what has happened in your life, and conversation during sleeping may be part of those dreams. This is quite common in the case of traumatic events.

Many people fear that they will give away their secrets when they are talking while sleeping. This isn’t usually the case, since most people do not have dreams about their secrets – except of course in cases of trauma, if the trauma is a secret. People who rest talk do not remember what they said, and in many cases don’t even remember the dream that had them talking in their sleep. Many sleep talkers do not even speak plainly. Instead, they mumble in their sleep!

While you do not typically give away your secrets when you are sleep talking, you may be one of the many people in the world who can carry on a complete conversation with another person – while at rest ! In this case, secrets may be revealed because your brain is literally not awake enough to tell a lie – you will be honest when asked questions if you carry on conversations while you are asleep!
