Smile In Your Sleep - Odd But Not Serious

Among the myriad of sleep disorders, night smiling while sleeping in bed is the least known - unless you're one who actually does smile in your sleep, of course. When we typically think about sleep problems like insomnia, sleep paralysis, or sleepwalking at home, we don't usually think about smiling. But the truth is, sleep smiling in bed is as bothersome as some of the other better-known sleep disorders.

The ideal state of sleep is characterized by a closed pair of eyes and mouth. But some people smile while sleeping and when a person is smiling, he or she is prone to a little embarrassing drooling because the mouth is open.

As you can imagine, it's a peculiar sleeping disorder. Most people tend to consciously smile after a good day work for example, or during a good time at a party or even simply at a good life. But at the end of the day - at night - at home - and while asleep, smiling is rather unheard of. There's a proper time for this expression and when people do it at an inappropriate time, like at night, at home, and at bed, it can be a little embarrassing.

As you read more and more about the various sleep disorders, don't be surprised at the different kinds there really are. Research information tells us that some people are not only prone to smiling while sleep, others are prone to crying as well.
